Matthew R. Willis 

Matt Willis is a licensed funeral director and embalmer in the states of Ohio and West Virginia. He and his wife, the former Letty Walker, are lifelong residents of Gallipolis. They have two daughters, Brianne and Brooke. Brianne is a freshman at Marshall University and Brooke attends Gallia Academy Junior High School. Matt attended Rio Grande College and is a graduate of the Cincinnati College of Mortuary Science and Liberty University. Matt is a member of the Gallipolis Rotary Club. He and his family are members of the First Baptist Church in Gallipolis. 

 

Kent M. Shawver

Kent M. Shawver is a licensed funeral director and embalmer in the states of Ohio and West Virginia. He and his wife of 20 years, the former Lou Ann Willis, are life long residents of Gallipolis. They have three children: Betsy, who is a senior in college; two sons, Zach and Sam, who attend Gallia Academy High School. Kent attended Georgetown College and graduated from the Cincinnati School of Mortuary Science. Kent has been a 4-H advisor for the past 14 years, serving on the executive committee and is very active in the Gallia County Fair. He is a member of the National Cattlemen Beef Association, the Ohio Cattlemen Association, and the Gallia County Cattlemen where he's served as President and on the Board of Directors. He is a member of the Gallia County Childrens Home and Childrens Services Board of Directors. He and his family are members of the First Baptist Church, where Kent serves as a member of the Board of Trustees and has been chairman for the past several years. 

 

Cleeland R. and Wanda Saunders Willis 

Cleeland R. and Wanda Saunders Willis opened Willis Funeral Home in 1974. Prior to opening Willis Funeral Home, Cleeland worked for the Gallipolis State Institute as a licensed practical nurse. An Air Force veteran, Cleeland went back to school in 1969 to become a funeral director. Cleeland graduated from the Cincinnati College of Mortuary Science in 1972. Wanda Willis is a retired elementary school teacher, having taught over 30 years, which included 3 years in Cincinnati, Ohio while Cleeland was in college. Cleeland and Wanda are members of First Baptist Church in Gallipolis, Ohio. Cleeland is also a member of the Gallipolis Rotary Club. They have two children, a daughter Lou Ann Shawver, and a son Matthew Willis and five grandchildren. 

 

Fred Morgan 

Fred Morgan ia a life long resident of southern Ohio and has two daughters Kelly and Danielle. Fred is a 1986 graduate of the Cincinnati College of Mortuary Science. Fred has specialized in pre-planning funerals for the Willis Funeral Home for the past six years. The number of families pre planning each year continues to grow and helps to guarantee a successful future at Willis Funeral Home. 

 

Teri McKinniss 

Teri McKinniss is the office manager for Willis Funeral Home. Teri resides in Gallipolis with her husband Ray, who is the manager of The Bob Evans Farm in Rio Grande, Ohio. They have three sons: Heath, a graduate of the University of Rio Grande and is employed with Jackson City Schools; Justin, a senior at Marshall University; Travis, a sophomore at the University of Rio Grande.
