Anitra G. Dray

Anitra G. Dray, 72, of Gallipolis, passed away on Saturday, December 16, 2017 at Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, Columbus, Ohio. She was born April 10, 1945 in Warehime, Massachusetts, daughter of the late William and Wanda Ramplewich Poling. Anitra married Nelson E. Dray and he survives her. She retired from Gallipolis Developmental Center after 30+ years. She was a member of the Gallipolis Emblem Club #199 and was president for 11 years. Surviving are her husband, Nelson Dray of Gallipolis; two children, Angela Cline and Chris Dray, both of Gallipolis; two grandchildren, Zachary Cline and Erica Easton; four great grandchildren, Ally Denny, Trey Cline, Aubrey Easton and Zander Michael; one sister, Gloria “Jeannie” McQuaid of Gallipolis;; two brothers, Bob Poling (Wilma) of Gallipolis and Mark (Deb) Poling of Centerville; a sister-in-law, Debbie Taylor of Gallipolis; nieces and nephews, Stephanie (Dannie) Wise of Covington, KY, Mike McQuaid, Jamie Denney, Lori and Lexie Taylor, all of Gallipolis. Anitra was preceded in death by her parents and brother-in-law, Homer McQuaid. Private services will be observed. A Celebration of Life service will be at a later date at the Gallipolis Elks Club.
