Ann Blackwell Henson

Ann Blackwell Henson, 77, of Gallipolis, passed away on Monday, May 1, 2017 at Abbyshire Place. She was born May 28, 1939 in Alabama, daughter of the late Lionel and Ruth A. Williams Blackwell. Surviving are daughters, Benita Henson of Gallipolis, Laurel Henson of Danville, West Virginia, April (Keith) Banks and Amy Henson Darby, both of Delaware, Ohio; sons, James (Shelly) Henson, Aaron (Karen) Henson and Frankie Henson, all of Gallipolis; 13 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren and 1 on the way. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Frank J. Henson, a son, Bruce Henson in 2015 and a great grandson, Tyler Chance Henson. Service will be 11:30 a.m., Saturday, May 6, 2017 at the Willis Funeral Home with Alan Johnson officiating. Burial will follow in Mound Hill Cemetery.
