Armanda 'Mandy' Chaffins

Armanda Mandy Chaffins, 57, of Bidwell, passed away on Friday, July 15, 2011 at OSU Medical Center, Columbus, Ohio. She was born February 8, 1954 in Williamson, West Virginia, daughter of the late Blaine and Maxine Waldron Vance. Mandy was married to David Chaffins and he survives her. She was a pastor of the Upper Room Revival Center and was retired from Woodland Centers. Surviving are her husband, David Chaffins of Bidwell; a daughter Sahvanna Chaffins and a son Jeff Chaffins, both of Bidwell; sisters and brothers, Deanna Dixon of Blackey, Kentucky, Raymond R. (Betsy) Pope of Vinton, Ohio, John (Debbie) Vance and Donna (Ron) Haynes, both of Bidwell, Ohio, Walter Butch (Chasity) Vance of Cheshire, Ohio and Roy (Kelli) Vance of Gallipolis, Ohio; a brother-in-law Jimmy Shorter of Liberty, Kentucky; several nieces and nephews. Mandy was preceded in death by her parents, four children in infancy and a sister Diana Shorter. Services will be 7:00 p.m., Thursday, July 21, 2011 at the Upper Room Worship Center, Skidmore Rd., Bidwell, Ohio with Brian and Missy Dailey officiating.
