Bertha Fillinger

Bertha Fillinger, 71, of Patriot, Ohio passed away on Saturday, September 30, 2006 at the Holzer Medical Center. Bertha was born on November 30, 1934 in Rio Grande, Ohio to James and Odessa Denny Walters. She married Harlan T. Fillinger on January 11, 1957 and he preceded her in death on April 15, 2001. Surviving are children, Connie Halley, Kathy Baxter both of Gallipolis, and Patsy Robinson of Patriot; four grandchildren and one great grandchild; a sister Sarah Adams of Gallipolis. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and by three brothers, James, Liston and Denny Walters, and by a sister Emogene Burns. Funeral Services will be 1 PM Tuesday, October 3, 2006 at Willis Funeral Home, with Rev. Chuck Stansberry officiating, burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery at Rio Grande.
