Betsy J. Bevins

Betsy J. Bevins, 75, of Gallipolis, passed away on Tuesday, July 14, 2015 at Holzer Medical Center. She was born October 18, 1939 in Bluefield, Virginia, daughter of the late John Otis and Dollie Herald Starling. Betsy was married to Donnie K. Bevins and he preceded her in death on August 16, 2012. She was an assistant manager at Penneys. Betsy was a member of New Haven Methodist Church, Kanauga, Ohio and the Elvis Fan Club. Surviving are her children, Randy D. (Jean) Bevins of Chesapeake, Virginia, Donise J. (Johnnie) Patterson of Bidwell, Shannon D. (Shannon Joy) Bevins of Gallipolis; 7 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren. In addition to her husband and parents, Betsy was preceded in death by 3 brothers. Services will be 5:00 p.m., Thursday, July 16, 2015 at Ohio Valley Memory Gardens, Chapel of Hope with Rev. David Garnes officiating. Burial will follow in Ohio Valley Memory Gardens. Willis Funeral Home is assisting the family.
