Betsy R. Sheets

Betsy Ross Dawson Sheets, 65, of Crown City, Ohio passed away on Thursday December 8, 2005 at Cabell-Huntington Hospital in Huntington, WV. She was born on July 3, 1940 in Bradshaw, WV to the late Robert Dawson and Lillie Belle Chambers Dawson Skeens. Betsy was the loving mother to her children, a son A. I. “Toby” Sharon Sheets of Fayetteville, OH and to her daughter Stephanie Jimmy Kearns of Athens, OH; loving grandmother to her five grandchildren, Lillie “Katie”, Kellie and John “J.K.” Kearns all of Athens, and Shelby and Sydney Sheets both of Fayetteville, OH. She is also survived by four brothers, Robert Mary Ann Dawson of Kenova, WV, Jack Linda Dawson of Proctorville, OH; Alby “Buck” Roberta Dawson of Lakeland, FL; and David “Toby” Ellen Dawson of Dothan, AL; a sister Shelia Lester of Chesapeake, OH; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and by a son Kenny Sheets. Betsy will be sadly missed by her family and friends. Services will be 1 PM Tuesday, December 13, 2005 at the Crown City United Methodist Church with Rev. Richard Graham officiating. Burial will follow in the Crown City Cemetery.
