Betty L. Siders

Betty L. Siders, 79, of Gallipolis, passed away on Monday, May 1, 2017 at her residence. She was born February 25, 1938 in Mason, West Virginia, daughter of the late Edward and Ada Cox Henry. She was married to Pearl William Siders and he preceded her in death on May 4, 1986. She was a homemaker and member of Promise Land Church. Surviving are her children, Ellen Matney, Penny (William) J. Wilson, Cathy Patterson, Pearl “Duke (Sharon) Siders, Stanley Siders, Mark (Karen) Siders, all of Gallipolis; 11 grandchildren; several great grandchildren; one brother, Gilbert Henry of Gallipolis; three sisters, Mary Siders, Jean Johnson, both of Gallipolis and Bonnie Reynolds of North Carolina. In addition to her parents and husband, Betty was preceded in death by a son and daughter in infancy, Robert Siders and Linda Siders, a sister Emma Moodispaugh and brothers Harold Dray and John Dray. Services will be 1:00 p.m., Thursday, May 4, 2017 at the Willis Funeral Home with Rev. Truman Johnson officiating. Burial will follow in Pine Street Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home from 12:00 – 1:00 p.m. prior to the services
