Beverly A. Watson

Beverly Watson, 81, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, September 10, 2025. She was born on August 8, 1944 in Northup, Ohio.

She is survived by her loving daughter, Kathy Ballein; son, Neil Watson; granddaughters, Josie (Jerry) Brammer and Maggie (Nate) Simpkins; treasured great-granddaughter, Ella Simpkins; brothers, Larry (Karen) Marr and Ed (Paula) Marr; many nieces and a nephew; and countless friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Carrie Mae and Glenn Marr and sister, Joy Barlow.

Beverly was a graduate of Southwestern High School and a retiree from Ohio Valley Bank. She was a devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who took such pride in her family. She loved and was loved by all who knew her and always had a warm smile and a hug for anyone who needed it. She was an incredible cook and was especially known for her pumpkin rolls and hard-tack candy.

Friends will be received from 11:00 a.m.–1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, September 16, 2025 at Willis Funeral Home, 12 Garfield Avenue, Gallipolis, Ohio 45631 with her memorial service immediately following. Burial will be in Ohio Valley Memory Gardens in Gallipolis, Ohio.
