Billia Louise Jones

Billia Louise Jones, 85, passed away Sunday, June 25, 2017 at Pleasant Valley Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Pt. Pleasant, WV. She was born September 21, 1931 in Clifton, West Virginia, daughter of the late Joseph and Mary Bass Kearns. Billia was married to Stanley Jones and he preceded her in death. Surviving are her son, Chuck (Gerri) Miller of Pomeroy; 2 granddaughters; 6 great grandchildren; five brothers, Harry Kearns of Mason, WV, Thomas “King” Kearns, Danny (Joyce) Kearns, Charles (Peachie) Kearns, all of Clifton, WV, Kenny (Deloris) Kearns of West Columbia, WV; three sisters, Goldie Kearns of Parkersburg, WV, Marion (Robert) Olinger of Letart, WV, Linda Stewart of Mason, WV; a close cherished friend, Gerald Rought of Pomeroy; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, and husband, Stanley Jones, Billia was preceded in death by an infant daughter, sisters Phylis Whittekind, Rose Hall and Sarah Roush, brothers Alfred Kearns and Carl Kearns and two great grandchildren. Services will be 1:00 p.m., Thursday, June 29, 2017 at the Willis Funeral Home with Rev. Brenda Barnhart officiating. Burial will follow in Campaign Cemetery, Gallia County, Ohio. Friends may call from 12 – 1:00 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.
