Billy R. Sergent

Billy Ray Sergent, 59, of Gallipolis, Ohio passed away on Tuesday, October 17, 2023 at his residence.

Born on November 28, 1963 in Gallipolis, Ohio, Billy was the son of the late Lloyd and Juanita Rose Shaver Sergent.  Billy worked for Tope Furniture and Life Style Furniture.  He enjoyed NASCAR and music.

Billy is survived by his children, Stephanie Sergent (Josh Kenemore) of Tunnel Hill, Georgia and Dustin Sergent of Atlanta, Georgia; grandchildren, Jenna Morgan, Baylee Morgan, and Jada Kenemore; siblings, Sue Waugh of Patriot, Ohio, Judy Calvert (James Burdette) of Gallipolis, and Lula (Darrell) Cox of Gallipolis; several nieces and nephews; and special friend Tammy Gillenwater.

In addition to his parents, Billy was preceded in death by a niece, Cassandra Cox and brother-in-law, Richard "Scooby" Waugh.
