Bonnie E. Austin

Bonnie E. Austin, 83, of Gallipolis, passed away on Tuesday, November 1, 2005 at her residence. She was born on February 8, 1922 in Gallia County, Ohio to the late Earl and Gusta E. Lanthorn Angell. Bonnie was married to Willard Milton Austin and he preceded her in death on October 23, 1972. She was a retired metal worker from Columbus Bolt and Forge. She was a member of Trinity Baptist Church and the American Legion Auxiliary. Surviving are two daughters, Linda Austin of Gallipolis and Bambi Roger Harris of Rio Grande; four grandchildren, Phillip Hessinger, Erica Hessinger and William Slone, all of Gallipolis, Elizabeth Harris of Rio Grande; four sisters, Catherine McKean and June E. Porter, both of Gallipolis, Elsie J. Hazlett of Lancaster, and Carolyn R. Waldo Porter of Sandusky; one brother, Marion L. Nancy Angell of Crown City. Preceding her in death in addition to her parents and husband Willard Milton Austin are two brothers, Bill and Lester Angell. Services will be on Saturday, November 5, 2005 at 1 p.m. at the Willis Funeral Home with Pastor Marc Sarrett officiating. Entombment will follow in the Chapel of Hope Mausoleum, Ohio Valley Memory Gardens. Friends may call at the funeral home on Friday, November 4, 2005 from 6-8 p.m. There will be an American Legion Auxiliary Service at 7 p.m. Pallbearers will be Mike Porter, Ronnie Porter, Jeff Porter, Keith Porter, William Slone and Roger Harris. Honorary pallbearer will be Phillip Hessinger.
