Boyd Clark

Boyd Clark, 94, of Lake Placid, Florida, formerly of Gallipolis, passed away on Monday, February 4, 2013 at his residence in Lake Placid, Florida. He was born September 19, 1918 in Aid, Ohio, son of the late John and Della Massie Clark. He was married to Mae Holley on May 27, 1939 and she preceded him in death on August 12, 1979. Boyd retired from Kaiser Aluminum, Ravenswood, West Virginia, attended First Baptist Church of Gallipolis, and was a member of First Baptist Church of Lake Placid, Florida. Surviving are five sons, Gary (Freda) Clark of Fruitland Park, Florida, Larry (Karen) Clark of Gallipolis, Eldon (Naomi Clonch) Clark of Lake Placid, Florida, John (Vera) Clark of Crown City and Mark (Lois) Clark of Gallipolis; nine grandchildren, Lori (Keith) Hughes, Bryan (Jeannie) Clark, Stacy (Kevin) Cremeens, Mendi (Bryan) Carter, Jennifer (Lester) Ross, Allen Clark, Kari (Chad) Mayes, Jeremy Clark, and Adam (Melissa) Clark; fourteen great grandchildren; his second wife, Florence Eves White Clark and her daughter, Sharon (Fred) Edgeman; two step granddaughters, Leah and Beth; one step great grandchild; and one step great great grandchild, all of Lake Placid, Florida. The family would like to thank Good Shepherd Hospice of Sebring, Florida for all of their help. Services will be 1:00 p.m., Friday, February 8, 2013 at the Willis Funeral Home with Pastor Alvis Pollard officiating. Burial will follow in Ohio Valley Memory Gardens. Friends may call at the funeral home from 11:30 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. on Friday prior to the service.
