Brenda K. Jones

Brenda K. Jones, 66, of Bidwell, Ohio passed away on Thursday, April 9, 2026 at Arbors of Gallipolis. Born September 7, 1959, Brenda was the daughter of the late Russell Ira and Flossie E. White Johnson. Brenda was a gangsta by trade and a comedian by heart and always hustled for her children.

In addition to her parents, Brenda was preceded in death by two brothers, Roger Lee Johnson Sr. and Russell Johnson Jr; a sister, Nancy Taylor; and a sister in infancy, Cathy Diane Johnson. Brenda is survived by a daughter, Rebecca (Christopher) Aker of Gallipolis; a son, Russell Dean (Katherine) Sargent of Bidwell; two grandchildren, Chelsea Sargent (Nathan) and Cody (Aurora) Saxton, both of Middleport; six great-grandchildren; two brothers, Ronnie Johnson and Richard (Peggy) Johnson, both of Gallipolis; a special niece who was raised in Brenda's home, Haylee Sargent; as well as several nieces and nephews.

In accordance with Brenda's and the family's wishes, no public services will be held.
