Brenda Kay Myers

Brenda Kay Myers, 59 , of Gallipolis, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, June 7, 2016 at her residence surrounded by her family. Brenda was born February 12, 1957, daughter of the late Truman Johnson Sr. and Lola M. Holley. She married Paul Eugene Myers and he preceded her in death. Surviving are her children, Mike Myers of Gallipolis, Michelle Fields of Frederick, Maryland, Brittany (Eduardo) Rodriquez of Columbus, Whitney Barber and Shawn Myers, both of Gallipolis; grandchildren, Iesha, Cory, Joey, Dakota, Moriah, Braydyn, Luis, Alicia and Monica; brothers and sister, Darrell (Connie) Johnson, David Johnson “Red Dog”, Donnie (Vonda) Johnson and Truman (Rosemary) Johnson Jr., Sharon (Duke) Siders, all of Gallipolis; stepfather, Melvin “Jack” Holley of Gallipolis; many nieces, nephews, uncles and aunts; and special friends, June Smith and Carla Jones. In addition to her parents and husband, Paul Eugene Myers in 2014, Brenda was preceded in death by an infant son, Jamie Lee, paternal grandparents, Margaret Johnson and Langley Johnson and maternal grandparents, Harry Harper and Delta McCoy. Services will be 1:00 p.m., Friday, June 10, 2016 at Willis Funeral Home with Rev. Truman Johnson, Jr., Rev. Darrell Johnson and Rev. Donnie Johnson officiating. Burial will follow in Kings Chapel Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Thursday, June 9, 2016 from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. Pallbearers will be Shawn, Mike, Cory, Mark, Matt and Skeeter. Honorary pallbearers will be James Smith and Rich Johnson.
