Brigitte G. Elsenheimer

Brigitte G. Elsenheimer, 63, of Gallipolis, Ohio, passed away on Friday, January 23, 2026 at Holzer Medical Center. Brigitte was born on January 31, 1962 in Oberstein, Germany.

Brigitte was preceded in death by her mother and father, Elizabeth Ann Chandler Underwood and Philip N. Underwood. Brigitte was a graduate of Gallia Academy High School, Class of 1980. In 1981, she met the love of her life Thomas; and three dates later, they were engaged to be married and spent 45 wonderful years together. They have three loving children together who love their mom very much. She was a beloved civil servant administrator with the United States Air Force for 30 years. She worked under Bill Luke for 22 years, whom she considered to be a second father figure. She had a love for all her animals and loved being on the white sandy beaches of Florida, where she had lived for many years.

Brigitte is survived by her husband, Thomas Elsenheimer of Gallipolis, Ohio; two sons, Adam (Chris) Elsenheimer of New York and Jordan (Tabby) of Pt. Pleasant, West Virginia; a daughter, Jessica Elsenheimer of Gallipolis; and several cousins, including Kolleta (Rich) Fridley of Middleport, Ohio.

In honoring her wishes, no public service are being held.
