Bruce W. Johnson, Sr., 45 of Gallipolis, Ohio passed away at his residence on Sunday, January 31, 2016. Bruce was born on August 15, 1970 in Gallipolis, Ohio son of the late Oshel Patterson and Ruth White Willett who survives in Gallipolis. Bruce was a Pittsburg Steelers fan. He is also survived by his wife Connie Dunbar Johnson of Gallipolis, two sons Bruce W. (Savannah) Johnson, Jr. of Gallipolis and Bruce W. Johnson III of Gallipolis, Step Daughter Jennifer Porter of Gallipolis, step sons Terry and Adam Dunbar both of Beckley, WV, grandchildren Brooklynn, Aubree and Jaylen Johnson, and Joseph Porter; Step mother Betty Patterson of Gallipolis, sisters Diana (Paul) Swisher of Chillicothe, Ohio and Judy Long of Gallipolis, brother Johnny Johnson of Gallipolis, other brothers and sisters James, Oshel, Walter, Johnny, Larry, Rick, Lonnie, Robert, Kathleen, Karen, Sandra, Esther and Patricia Patterson all from the Gallipolis and Pt. Pleasant area, an Uncle Virgil (Joanne) Patterson of Gallipolis Ferry, WV. He was preceded in death by his father Oshel, brothers, Tony and Terry Johnson, a sister Vicky Long and his step dad Clifford Willett. Services will be 1 pm Wednesday, February 3, 2016 at Willis Funeral Home with Chaplain Fred Williams. Friends may call on Wednesday from 12 noon until the time of the services.
