C. Marvin Hufford, 80, of Gallipolis, passed away on Thursday, August 11, 2016 at the Emogene Dolen Hospice House, Huntington, West Virginia. He was born April 22, 1936 in Cheshire, Ohio, son of the late Paul and Vesta Jane Siders Hufford. Marvin was married to Mary Ann St. Clair on June 4, 1961 in Cheshire, Ohio and she survives him. He was a retired elementary principal and teacher from Clay Elementary. He received his BS in Education from Ohio University and a Masters from West Virginia University. He was a member of Gallia County and Ohio Retired Teachers and the Debbie Drive Chapel. Surviving are his wife, Mary Ann Hufford of Gallipolis; a son, Harold Hufford of Rio Grande; a grandson, Nickolas Hufford of Bidwell, and a brother-in-law, Gene (Sue) St. Clair of Newark, Ohio. Services will be 2:00 p.m., Monday, August 15, 2016 with Pastor Alfred Holley officiating. Burial will follow in Gravel Hill Cemetery.
