Carol Buck Pack

Carol Buck Pack, 86, of Middleport, formerly of Gallipolis, passed away on Wednesday, July 11, 2018 at Overbrook Rehabilitation Center, Middleport, Ohio. She was born on December 7, 1931 in Nitro, West Virginia, daughter of the late Ray and Lillian Wurth Dawson. She was married to Oscar Pack Jr. who preceded her in death. Carol was retired from Gallipolis Developmental Center. She was a member of Cheshire Baptist Church and a longtime member of Cheshire Canasta Club. Surviving are her daughter, Shelly Hager of Rio Grande; her son, Ricky (Jennifer) Buck of Gallipolis; 6 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; 4 great great grandchildren; and a brother, George Dawson of Kentucky. In addition to her parents and second husband, Oscar Pack Jr, Carol was preceded in death by her first husband, Charles Buck Jr., a son, Charles “Billy” Buck III, a brother Danny Dawson, and a grandchild, Brandy Buck. Services will be 2:00 p.m., Sunday, July 15, 2018 at the Willis Funeral Home with Pastor Jim Williams officiating. Burial will follow in Gravel Hill Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Sunday from 1:00 - 2:00 p.m. prior to the service.
