Carola J. Keever

Carola Jane Keever, 89, of Gallipolis, Ohio, passed away on Tuesday, February 17, 2026 at Holzer Senior Care Center.

Born on November 8, 1936 in Columbus, Ohio, Carola was the daughter of the late Dr. Kenneth W. and Pauline Perry Keever. Carola retired from Gallipolis Developmental Center, where she worked as an occupational therapist for many years. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

In addition to her parents, Carola was preceded in death by her brother, Joe Perry Keever, and a sister-in-law, Kay Keever. Carola is survived by her daughter, Maria P. Fisher (Christopher Gibson) of Patriot, Ohio; two grandsons, Ryan Christopher (Shyan) Atkins and James Dylan Atkins; a great-grandson, Arthur Atkins; and a cousin, Beth Mantor of Delaware, Ohio.

A graveside service will be held for Carola at at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, February 27, 2026 at Tyn Rhos Cemetery. Friends and family may be received from 11:30 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. at Willis Funeral Home in Gallipolis, Ohio.
