Carole Facemire

Carole Facemire, 85, of Gallipolis, Ohio, passed away on Saturday, November 8, 2025 at Holzer Medical Center in Gallipolis, Ohio. Carole was born on June 12, 1940 in Lawrence County, Ohio, daughter of the late George and Ruby Mullet Mahan.

Carole worked and retired from the cafeteria at Holzer Medical Center and attended the First Church of the Nazarene in Gallipolis. She is survived by her son, Doug (Karen) Facemire of Chillicothe, Ohio; grandchildren, Stephanie (David) Houck of Point Pleasant, West Virginia, Byron Facemire (Ashley Garten) of Chillicothe, Shawn (Cheryl) Martindale of Chillicothe, and Dustin (Staci) Martindale of Chesapeake, Virginia; nine great-grandchildren; and one sister, Helen (Jim) Bishop of Grove City, Ohio. Carole was preceded in death by three brothers, Hobert Mahan, Vernal Mahan, and Daniel Mahan.

The funeral service for Carole will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, November 12, 2025 at Willis Funeral Home with Pastor David Brown officiating. Her burial will follow in Vinton Memorial Park. Visitation will be held on Wednesday from noon until the time of the service at the funeral home.
