Carolyn F. Holley

Carolyn F. Holley, 81, of Plain City, Ohio passed away on Friday, March 8, 2024 at Kobacker House in Columubs, Ohio.  She was born on August 11, 1942 in Gallia County, Ohio, daughter of the late Roy and Norma Johnson Hively.  Carolyn had worked for several years for Swan Cleaners in Columbus, Ohio and was a caretaker for her family.

She was married to Dale D. "Hank" Holley for 46 years; and he preceded her in death on October 4, 2005.  She is survived by one daughter,  Katheryn Ray of Hilliard, Ohio and one son, Lawrence D. (Heather) Holley, Sr. of Dublin, Ohio; grandchildren, Anthony Osterloh, Jeremy Osterloh, Lawrence D. Holley, Jr., Charles "Chuckie" D. Holley, Kenneth Arnold Wayne (Sarah) Holley, and Dakota Holley; step granddaughter, Anna Ray; great grandchildren, Axel Dale Holley and Carolynn Elain Holley;  two sisters, Doris Halley of Plain City, Ohio and Wanda Lyman of Columbus, Ohio; sisters-in-law, Shirley (Dale) Watson and Naomi (Gene) Brown both of Crown City; brothers-in-law, George Holley of Grove City, Ohio and Warren (Judy) Holley of Crown City; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents and husband, Carolyn was preceded in death by one daughter, Bonnie Dye and a son-in-law, Michael Ray.

The funeral service for Carolyn will be held at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 13, 2024 at Willis Funeral Home with Pastor Junior Preston officiating.  Her burial will follow in Providence Cemetery.  Friends may call on Wednesday from 11:00 a.m. -  1:00 p.m. at the funeral home prior to the service.
