October 8, 1983 — September 25, 2025

Gallipolis

Cassidy "Cass" Renee Sheffield McCormick, 41, of Gallipolis, Ohio, left this world on September 25, 2025. Cass was born on October 8, 1983 in Augusta, Georgia, daughter of Stephen and Margaret McCormick who survive her in Gallipolis.

Cass was a great person with a huge heart and would help anyone in need; always trying to save a stray animal or a stray person. We will always love and miss her. Our lives will never be the same.

In addition to her parents, she is survived by three sons, Lyric McCormick, Ryker Johnson, and Kyler Johsnon; two sisters, Samantha McCormick and Sara McCormick; one brother, Stevie McCormick; one niece Ryanna Williams all from Gallipolis; maternal grandmother, Phyllis Sonnenberg of Columbus, Ohio; and an uncle Chris Sheffield II of Columbus. All of her family left behind will try to live in this world without her.

A Graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, September 30, 2025 at St. Nick Cemetery. Friends may call on Tuesday at Willis Funeral Home from 11:00 am till 12:30 p.m.
