Caterina Rebecca Mooney

Caterina Rebecca Mooney, 33, of Crown City, Ohio passed away on Wednesday, September 10, 2025. Born on July 28, 1992 in Gallipolis, Ohio, Caterina was the daughter of David Mooney and Margaret Green Mooney. She was a graduate of South Gallia High School. Caterina enjoyed fishing.

Caterina is survived by her mother, Margaret Mooney of Crown City, Ohio; father, David (Patricia) Mooney of Crown City, Ohio; two sons, Brayden Perry and Darren Perry both of South Point, Ohio; siblings, Brittany (Zachary) Savage of Bidwell, Ohio, Robin O’Neal of Rio Grande, Ohio, Nikie Perry, David Jr. Mooney, Bridget Mooney, Brittany Patterson, Brandon Mooney, and Nadine Mooney Neal; nephews and niece, Solomon Savage, Mathayus Savage, Kaydence O’Neal, and Michael O’Neal; grandmother, Freda Hanna of Crown City; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Caterina was preceded in death by her grandparents, Oyer Green, Mary Bowman, and Clarence Mooney.

A Graveside Service will be held for Caterina at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, September 29, 2025 at Kings Chapel Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Zachary Savage, Dennis Stanley, Darrel Green, Shane Stewart, and Eric Jones.
