Catherine L. Bowling

Catherine L. Bowling, 67, of Jackson, passed away on Tuesday, November 30, 2010 at her residence. She was born April 29, 1943 in Nelsonville, Ohio, daughter of the late Howard K. and Margaret Orme Moody. She enjoyed going to church, spending time with her family and friends, and scrapbooking. Surviving are her three daughters, Penny (Junior) Massie of Gallipolis, Peggy (Michael) Burke of New Albany, Indiana, and Patty (Charles) Wolfe of Crown City; two sons, Phillip Ward of Gallipolis and Paul Ward of Dayton; a special friend, Paul A. Bowling of Oak Hill; one brother, Ronald D. (Carol) Moody of Bernie, Indiana; 14 Grandchildren; 11 Great Grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Catherine was preceded in death by her parents, a daughter Pam Estep, two granddaughters Amanda Roberts and Jackqueline Layne, a great grandson Collin Pennington, one brother Kenneth Moody and one sister Barbara Raines. Services will be 11:00 a.m., Saturday, December 4, 2010 at the Willis Funeral Home with Pastor David Marcum officiating. Burial will follow in Bethesda Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Friday, December 3, 2010 from 6-8 p.m. Pallbearers will be Junior Massie, Charles Wolfe, Paul Ward, Tyler Massie, Andy Willis and Michael Massie.
