Cecil T. Clary, 78, of Scottown, passed away at his residence on Tuesday, October 24, 2017. He was born January 2, 1939 in Scottown, Ohio, son of the late Ora J. and Ada J. Hoskinson Clary. Cecil was married to Phyllis Waugh and she preceded him in death in 2014. He was a graduate of Waterloo High School and a U.S. Air Force veteran. He was retired from Rockwell International. Surviving are his son, Cecil T. (Lisa) Clary Jr. of Scottown; four grandchildren, Chris Clary, Kelly Clary, Cecil T. Clary III, and Brittany Jackson, all of Scottown; and six great grandchildren. In addition to his parents, and his wife, Phyllis Clary, Cecil was preceded in death by a son, Bobby Preston Clary in 2000, and six sisters, Mary Joy, Hilda Newton, Frieda Cribbage, Meda Holmes, Della Buskirk and Edna Cochran. Graveside services will be 1:00 p.m., Saturday, October 28, 2017 at Perkins Ridge Cemetery. There will be military rites at the graveside given by the Gallia County Funeral Detail.
