Cecil O. King, 88, passed away on Sunday, October 25, 2015 at Holzer Medical Center. He was born March 25, 1927 in Chester, Ohio, son of the late Edward and Edith Hoffman King. Cecil was married to Gladys Lamp King on March 28, 1983 in Pomeroy, Ohio and she survives him. He was a U.S. Air Force veteran and was retired in 1983 from Crucible Steel Mill in Midland, Pennsylvania. He loved hunting, fishing and yard work. Surviving are his wife, Gladys King of Bidwell; one son, Joseph Michael (Rana) King of Troy, Ohio; two stepsons, John (Cassie) Conley of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and Robert (Chelsea) Conley of Oak Hill; several grandchildren and great grandchildren; two sisters, Lela Windon of Racine and Donna White of Tampa, Florida. At Mr. King’s request, there will be no services.
