Charles E. Beman, 67, of Thurman, Ohio passed away Thursday, July 5, 2018 at Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center in Columbus, Ohio. Born May 23, 1951 in Gallipolis, Ohio, Charles was the son of the late Fred S. Beman and Naomi Fellure Beman who survives at Thurman. He retired from Constellium and was a farmer. Charles was a member of Thurman United Methodist Church. In addition to his mother Naomi, Charles is survived by his wife, Susan Sprow Beman whom he married on May 2, 1996; sisters, Janet (Larry) Stephens of Vinton and Joan R. Beman of Thurman; stepdaughter, Jamie (Dusty) Fisher of Gallipolis; step grandchildren, Gage Wilson and Tayler Fisher; two nephews, Charles Richard (Jessica) Stephens of Scottown, Ohio and Michael G. (Lindsay) Stephens of Bidwell; three great nephews, Tyler, Tate, and Tanner; and a host of extended family member and friends. Services will be 12:00 p.m. Tuesday, July 10, 2018 at Thurman United Methodist Church with Pastor D. John Rozewiez officiating. Friends may call before the service from 10:00 a.m.- 12:00 p.m. at the church. A private burial service will be held at Hill Cemetery at the convenience of the family.
