Charles William O'Dell

Charles William O’Dell, 58, of Gallipolis, formerly of Alexandria, Virginia, passed away on Wednesday, May 3, 2006 in Gallipolis. He was born on October 24, 1947 in Gallipolis, son of the late Merrill Omar and Vera Kochy O’Dell. He was a graduate of Miami University and was retired having done computer/analysis in the Washington, DC area. He was a member of Grace United Methodist Church. Surviving is one brother, Jim Pat O’Dell of Gallipolis; two nephews, Jeff O’Dell of Gallipolis and Matt Kim O’Dell of Bidwell; one niece, Robin Mike Hutchinson of Newark, Ohio; three great nephews, Sean O’Dell and Jimmy O’Dell, both of Bidwell and Christopher Hutchinson of Newark, Ohio. Preceding him in death were his parents and one brother, Richard David O’Dell. Services will be 1 p.m., Saturday, May 6, 2006 at the Willis Funeral Home with Rev. Doug Stockton officiating. Burial will follow in Mound Hill Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Saturday from 12-1 p.m. prior to the service.
