Charles F. Parker Jr., 82 of Patriot, Ohio , passed away on Saturday, March 31, 2007 at the Holzer Medical Center. He was born March 25, 1925 in Monterey, TN, son of the late Charles F. and Lucille Buckner Parker Sr. Charles was a retired minister, a World War II U.S. Navy Veteran and a lifetime member of the V.F.W. Post 6277 in Monterey TN. Charles is survived by his wife Jewell Stephens Parker of Patriot, a daughter and son-in-law Carolyn Patty and George Miller of Monterey, TN.; 4 Grandchildren: George Vincent Miller, Stephen C. Miller, Charles T. Miller and Melissa Ledbetter, 17 Great Grandchildren and 4 Great Great Grandchildren; sisters Mary Jo Matheney of Monterey, and Ardith Sutton of Cookeville TN, half brothers Gail Parker, Michael Parker, and Stephen Parker all of Monterey, TN and a half sister Linda Sproles of Monterey, TN. He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother James Isaac Parker and a sister Martha Bowden. Services will be 2:00 pm Tuesday, April 3, 2007 at the Rehobeth Methodist Church in Waterloo, OH with Rev. Warren Bass officiating. Burial will follow in the Flag Springs Cemetery. Friends may call at the Church from 1:00 until the time of service on Tuesday.
