Charlotte Delma Sayre

Charlotte Delma Walker Sayre, 82, of Gallipolis, Ohio, passed away peacefully at her home on January 11, 2019. Charlotte was born on February 1, 1936 in Addison, Ohio, daughter of the late William Walker and Lillian Pritt Walker. She worked at G.C. Murphy and Sears Roebuck and attend school in Addison and Cheshire. Charlotte was a 1954 Graduate of Cheshire High School. She loved making Goose Dresses and going to the flea market. Charlotte loved meeting and talking to people. She loved supporting her family never missing one of Dallas’s or Austin’s games and she especially loved having neighborhood children play in her yard. She loved watching baseball. On December 24, 1956, Charlotte married Harold Sayre and he survives her along with a Son Dallas; grandson Austin (Bobbi) Sayre; great grandsons, Malakai and Maxton, and her beloved dog Molly. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by half-brothers Lloyd, Lawrence, Walter, Oscar, Ralph, and half-sisters Ernestine, Stella and Lottie and by twin brothers in infancy. The funeral services for Charlotte will be 11 am Tuesday January 15, 2019 at Willis Funeral Home. Her burial will be in Creston Cemetery.
