Christopher M. McCarty

Christopher M. McCarty, 51, of Vinton, Ohio, passed away on Saturday, December 20, 2025 in Holzer Medical Center Emergency Room.

Born on October 18, 1974 in Gallipolis, Ohio, Christopher was the son of John Michael McCarty of Vinton and the late Linda Faye Workman McCarty, who passed in 2017. Christopher was a graduate of River Valley High School and Buckeye Hills Career Center; he was a manager and technician at Gallipolis Coin Laundromat. Christopher enjoyed riding his tractor, four wheeler, and anything to go off road. He also loved spoiling his niece.

Christopher is survived by his companion, Stacy Groves of Vinton; father, Mike McCarty of Vinton; brother, Rick (Juanita) McCarty of Gallipolis, Ohio; niece, Kendra McCarty of Gallipolis; and several aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

A Memorial Service, planned at the convenience of the family, will be announced at a later date.
