Cindy Sue Miller

Cindy Sue Miller, 68, of Hilliard, Ohio, formerly of Gallipolis, passed away unexpectedly Tuesday, August 12, 2025, at her home.

She was a 1975 graduate of Gallia Academy High School and a 1980 graduate of the University of Rio Grande where she was a proud member of Chi Omega Alpha sorority and affectionately known as “Millie or Miller” by her much-loved sorority sisters.

Cindy was a former employee of Ohio Valley Stockyards and Smith’s GMC Center in Gallipolis. When she moved to the Columbus area, she was a former employee of Volunteers of America Auto Auction and was currently employed as an administrative secretary for First Financial Leasing and Finance.

Cindy was preceded in death by her parents, Clarence A. and Thelma (Neal) Miller; brother, Jerry “Bear” Miller; sister-in-law, Dreama Miller; paternal and maternal grandparents; cherished aunts, uncles, and cousins; and her beloved German shepherd companion, Auzzie.

She is survived by her brothers, Gary (Carol) Miller and Keith Miller of Gallipolis; sister, Becky Warren of Jackson, Ohio; nephews, Allen (Devora) Curnutte of Alabama, Farrell Miller, Mike (Mary) Miller, and Zachary Miller; and great nephew, Oscar Curnutte.

Cindy was a great daughter, sister, aunt, cousin, and friend who would help anyone in need without hesitation and will be greatly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.

Visitation will be from 12:30 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, August 17, 2025 at Willis Funeral Home in Gallipolis; the funeral service will follow at 2:00 p.m. Burial will be at the convenience of the family.
