Clara A. Elliott

Clara A. Harbour Elliott, 83, of the Mudsoc Community, went home to be with the Lord, Friday, October 13, 2006 at her residence. She was born on February 2, 1923, daughter of the late Hollis and Margaret Houck Harbour. She was a homemaker and retired from the Gallipolis Developmental Center. Clara was preceded in death by her parents, one brother, David Harbour, and by two sisters, Ethel Woods and Hazel Davis. Clara is survived by her husband of 66 years, Ralph W. Elliott, whom she married on September 15, 1940; three daughters, Dottie Robert Fellure of Gallipolis, OH, Janice Davis of St. Louis, MO, and Diana P.J. Gauze of Patriot, OH; three sons, Ralph Wayne Lana Elliott, Jr. of Gallipolis, OH, Donald Debbie Elliott and Douglas Debra Elliott, both of Patriot, OH, Nine grandchildren, Christi Bert Colvin, Keith Bethany Fellure, Marie Davis, Allen Mendy Elliott, Cindi Phillip Kuhn, Melissa Judson Swindler, Forrest, Emily and Niles Elliott; six great grandchildren, Garrett and Michaela Colvin, Brody Fellure, Teresa Davis, Boston and Isaac Kuhn, and two step great grandchildren, Chase and Kaitlyn Liptrap, one sister Helen Hermann of St. Louis, MO. Service will be 2:30 PM Monday, October 16, 2006 at Willis Funeral Home with Pastor Alfred Holley officiating. Burial will follow in Neal Cemetery at Mudsoc, OH. Friends may call at Willis Funeral Home on Monday 1 hour prior to the service. Pallbearers will be Bert Colvin, Keith Fellure, Allen Elliott, Phillip Kuhn, Judson Swindler, and Forrest Elliott; Honorary Pallbearers will be Tony Lyall, Dennis McGuire, and Tom Lyon.
