Cynthia Ann "Cindy" Morehouse

Cynthia Ann "Cindy" Morehouse, 58, of South Point, Ohio, formerly of Gallipolis, passed away on Thursday, April 30, 2026 at her home after a long battle with cancer. Cindy was born on January 18, 1968 in Gallipolis, Ohio, daughter of the late Harold F. and Alta Clonch Hill.

Cindy is survived by her husband, Thomas "Tom" Morehouse whom she married in December 2004; a daughter, Tiffany (Andrew) Marquis of Wellston, Ohio; one son, Brandon Campbell of Lecanto, Florida; three stepsons, Darnell York (Berta Gail) of Nanticoke, Pennsylvania, Michael Morehouse, and Eddy Morehouse of Huntington, West Virginia; seven grandchildren, Aiden, Brandon, Andrew Jr., Bethany, Rylynn, Christopher, and Tommy Morehouse; and two brothers, Steve (Rita) Hill and Dennis (Katrina) Hill both of Gallipolis. Cindy graduated from Southwestern High School and was a customer service representative for Amazon for many years. She enjoyed NASCAR and riding motorcycles. Cindy enjoyed being with family and listening to music. She enjoyed the outdoors, planting flowers, and front porch sitting which was her absolute favorite. Cindy was preceded in death by her father, Harold F. Hill; her mother, Alta Riedel; and stepfather, Charles Riedel.

The funeral service for Cindy will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 5, 2026 at Wills Funeral Home with Pastor Chad Marquis officiating; her burial will follow in Centenary Cemetery. Friends may call prior to the funeral on Tuesday from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the service.
