Danny L. Green

Danny L. Green, 59, of Gallipolis, passed away Tuesday, December 21, 2010 at his residence. He was born December 20, 1951 in Ironton, Ohio, son of the late Raymond L. Green and Lois Salisbury Green, who survives him. Danny was a 1970 Gallia Academy High School graduate. He was married to Teresa L. Terri Holbrook Green and she preceded him in death on August 3, 2005. Danny was a retired truck driver and heavy equipment operator for the Teamsters Local 505, Ashland, Kentucky. He enjoyed hunting and his pet dog, Pepe. Surviving are his mother Lois (Jim) Blair of Gallipolis; one brother Sherman S. (Susan) Green of Gallipolis; a niece Michelle Green of Gallipolis; two stepsons, Steve (Debbie) Shaffer and Michael Shaffer; several step grandchildren; several aunts, uncles and cousins. According to Dannys wishes, services will be private and interment will be in Olive Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Richard Green, Barry Plymale, Willie Curfman, Scotty Curfman, and Sherman Green.
