Debra “Debby” L. Johnson, 46, passed away on Sunday, April 30, 2017 at her residence. She was born May 15, 1970 in Gallipolis, daughter of the late Richard “Fatman” and Virginia Faulkner Chapman. She graduated from Hannan Trace High School and Gallipolis Career College. Debby was an employee of A & L Home Health and attended Promise Land Church. She was a former employee of Robbie’s BP, where she was known as a pumper. Debby loved spending time with family, especially her grandchildren and enjoyed writing poetry. Surviving are two daughters and one son, Becka Johnson, Vanna Jade Johnson, and Jordan Johnson, all of Gallipolis; two grandchildren, Nadia Johnson and Robert Smith; her fiance`, Drew Williams; two sisters and three brothers, Leechona Clagg, Peachy Watson, Rocky Jeffers, Daniel (Julie) Bays, Billy Bays, all of Gallipolis; and former husband and long time friend, Van Johnson; nieces and nephews, Jennele Chapman, Timber Clagg, Ashley Clagg, Jenna Bays, Tonya Jeffers, Drew Watson, Kyle D. Bays, Kyle W. Bays, Timmy Halley and Dustin Halley; many great nieces and nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. In addition to her parents, Debby was preceded in death by two sisters, Christi Halley and Patricia Chapman. Services will be 1:00 p.m., Friday, May 5, 2017 at the Willis Funeral Home with Rev. Jim Chapman officiating. Burial will follow in Victory Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Thursday, May 4, 2017 from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. Pallbearers will be Van Johnson, Jordan Johnson, Steve Johnson, Andrew Williams, Billy and Rob Johnson.
