Debra E. Simms

Debra E. Simms, 58, of Gallipolis passed away on Friday, March 15, 2019 at Meigs County Emergency Room in Middleport, Ohio.. Born on May 30, 1960 in Delaware, Ohio, Debra was the daughter of Charles Ted Glassburn, who survives her in Bidwell, and the late Bernice Meek Glassburn. In addition to her mother, Debra was preceded in death by her sister, Teresa Glassburn. Debra retired from the Bob Evans Sausage Plant. She was a member of Garden of My Heart Holy Tabernacle in Bidwell, Ohio. Debra enjoyed family activities and her grandchildren. Debra is survived by her sons, Joshua Simms (Calandra Sinclair) of Gallipolis and Jason Simms of Houma, Louisiana; grandsons, Kyle Neal and Jaymon Simms; granddaughter, Annabelle Sinclair; sister, Brenda (Johnnie) Wallace of Apple Grove, West Virginia; several nieces and nephews; and the father of her children and friend, Jeffrey D. Simms of Gallipolis. A graveside service for Debra will be at 12:00 p.m. on Friday, March 22, 2019 in Apple Grove Memorial Gardens with Pastor Zane Colley officiating.
