Debra Sue Sims

Debra Sue "Debbie" Sims, of Gallipolis, Ohio passed away on Wednesday, May 11, 2016 at the Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus. She was born on July 2, 1956 in Ashland, Kentucky, daughter of the late Howard Hartman and Avanell Barker Hartman who survives in Sandy Hook, Kentucky. Debbie was a homemaker and enjoyed doing puzzles, reading, and loved her dogs. Debbie was married to Vernon Ray Sims and he preceded her in death on December 29, 2012. She is survived by a son, Nathan R. Sims, of Louisville, Kentucky, her mother Avanell Hartman of Sandy Hook, a sister Lula Kitchen of Gallipolis, Ohio, and by four brothers, Johnnie Buckner, Gary W. Hartman, Dale M. (Robin) Hartman, and Allen Hartman all of Sandy Hook, KY. Funeral Services will be 2 pm Sunday, May 15, 2016 at Willis Funeral Home with Rev. Darrell Johnson officiating. Her burial will follow in Reynolds Cemetery. Friends may call on Sunday, From 1:00 PM until the time of the service at the funeral home.
