Deloris E. "Dee" Clagg

Deloris E. "Dee" Clagg, 67, of Crown City, Ohio, passed away on Thursday, April 30, 2026 at her residence.

Born on September 24, 1958 in Gallia County, Ohio, Dee was the daughter of the late Paul and Ina Wolford Phillips. Dee retired from Gallipolis Developmental Center as a head cook; she later helped care for the elderly. Dee was a member of Silver Memorial Freewill Baptist Church. She loved spending time with her grandchildren, and she enjoyed gardening and shopping. In addition to her parents, Dee was preceded in death by her son-in-law, Jody Bowers and her sister, Patricia Suver.

Dee is survived by her daughters, Tonya Bowers of Crown City, Ohio and Kyeria Campbell of Gallipolis, Ohio; sons, Anthony (Angela) Lemley of Gallipolis and Jeff (Lisa) Lemley of Gallipolis; nine grandchildren, Cheyenna Bowers, Colton Bowers, Julie (Tristan) Janey, MaKensey Lemley (Michael Eaves), Layton Lemley, Braxton Lemley, Madison Jennings, Chrystyne Campbell, and Cody Henderson; one great-grandchild, Laken Janey; sisters, Connie Parson, Beatrice Phillips, Donna Hersman, and Nancy (Wayne) Clonch all of Gallipolis; and special friend, Teresa Bowers of Crown City.

The funeral service for Dee will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, May 4, 2026 at Willis Funeral Home with Reverend Jack Parsons officiating. Burial will follow in Kings Chapel Cemetery. Friends may call from 3:00-5:00 p.m. on Sunday, May 3, 2026 at Willis Funeral Home. Special thanks to her sisters, Connie, Bea, and Donna: her niece, Bridget: and her friend, Teresa for all their love and care.

Pallbearers will be Anthony Lemley, Jeff Lemley, Braxton Lemley, Layton Lemley, Andrew Parsons, Justin Hersman, Robert Hersman, and Colton Bowers.
