Dennis L. Martyn

Dennis L. Martyn, 57, of Bidwell, passed away on Sunday, December 18, 2016 at his residence. He was born November 21, 1959 in Columbus, Ohio, son of the late William Kenneth Martyn and Doris Martyn, who survives him. Also preceding him in death, is one brother, William Keith Martyn, one sister, Vanessa Martin and grandparents, Sam and Nora Glover. In addition to his mother, he is survived by brother and sisters, Lynn Martyn-Stapleton of South Point, Yvette Nibert of Middleport, Janette (Mike) Beckley of Grove City, Daniel (Karissa) Martyn of Gallipolis; three half-sisters, Marcella Martyn of Grand Junction, CO, Cheri McCain of Albuquerque, NM, Summer Ramsburg and half-brother, Jason Martyn, both of Rio Grande, OH; many adored nieces and nephews. Dennis loved Nascar and was a Jeff Gordon fan. He enjoyed model and diecast cars and was a Star Trek and Star Wars fan. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, December 22, 2016 at the Church of Christ in Christian Union.
