Donald E. Barlow

Donald E. Barlow, 79, of Patriot, passed away on Wednesday, September 27, 2017 at Holzer Medical Center. He was born February 2, 1938 in Gallia County, son of the late Lawrence and Loris Martin Barlow. He was married to Peggy Puckett and she survives him. Donald was a lifetime farmer and raised sheep for many years. Donald is survived by his faithful wife, Peggy Barlow of Patriot; two sisters, Mildred Sisson of Patriot and Karen (Wendell) Brumfield of Gallipolis; a niece, Sandra Brumfield; a nephew, James (Nina) Brumfield; and great nephews, Cody and Dylan Brumfield. In addition to his parents, Donald was preceded in death by his first wife, Joycelyn “Joy” Barlow and a brother-in-law, Gilbert Sisson. Services will be 1:00 p.m., Saturday, September 30, 2017 at the Willis Funeral Home with Pastor Alfred Holley officiating. Burial will follow at Neal Cemetery. Friends may call from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. Friday at the funeral home and also from 12:00 – 1:00 p.m. Saturday prior to the funeral.
