Donald C. “Don” Wolford, 66, of Crown City, Ohio passed away on Saturday, August 20, 2016 at his residence. Don was born August 17, 1950 in Gallia County, Ohio son of the late Truman and Thelma Gladys Cox Wolford. He worked previously as a truck driver for Sequoia Building Supplies in Pritchard, WV and retired as a truck driver for M&P Industries in Lesage, WV. He enjoyed farming, was an avid gardener and a devoted Pittsburgh Steeler’s fan. Don was married to Brenda Finley Wolford on September 10, 1982 in Virginia and she survives him. He is also survived by two step sons Chris (Holly) Petro of Gallipolis and Timmy Petro of Crown City, three granddaughters Madison, Morgan, and Mallory Petro; two sisters Jewell Wolford of Gallipolis and Mary Wolford of Crown City, a sister-in-law Judy Wolford of Gallipolis; several nieces and nephews also survive. He was preceded in death by his parents, and by brothers Earl, Carl, Keith, and Junior Wolford and by sisters Bessie Bowman, Ina Phillips and Letha Mae Davis. Services will be 1 pm Wednesday, August 24, 2016 at Willis Funeral Home with Pastor Alfred Holley officiating. His burial will follow in Kings Chapel Cemetery.
