Donna Reynolds Kent

Donna Reynolds Kent, 69, of Cheshire, Ohio passed away on Saturday, February 10, 2007 at her residence. She was born on August 24, 1937 in Cheshire, Ohio to Dorothy Scott and Glenn Rupe. Donna was a retired Registered Nurse having worked for 44 years and retired from the Holzer Medical Center with 38 years of service. She was a member of the Cheshire Baptist Church, The Gallipolis O.E.S. Chapter 283, and the White Shrine of Jerusalem. Donna was a graduate of Cheshire High School and a graduate of the St. Mary’s School of Nursing in Huntington, WV. Donna was preceded in death by her father Glenn Rupe in 1991, by her mother Dorothy Scott Roush in 1999, and by her first husband William A. Reynolds in 1984. She is survived by her husband George Kent whom she married on May 30, 1987, two daughters, Kimberly Ann Tim Holmes of Wichita Falls, Texas, Karen Sue Tom Edgar of Bidwell, Ohio, and one son William Edward “Buck” Teresa Reynolds of Bidwell; seven grandchildren, Madison Holmes, Mitchell Holmes, Monica Helms, Josh Helms, Will Edgar, Isaiah Reynolds and Gracelyn Reynolds; one great granddaughter Baylee Shay Helms; a step mother Thelma Rupe of Huntington, WV, and a step father Charles Roush of Cheshire, Ohio; one brother John Debbie Roush of Bidwell, an Aunt Gert Hysell of Addison, Ohio, and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Services will be 1 PM Thursday, February 15, 2007 at Willis Funeral Home with Pastor Steve Little officiating. Burial will follow in Gravel Hill Cemetery. Friends may call on Wednesday, February 14, 2007 from 6-8 pm at Willis Funeral Home. The family requests that you consider making a donation in Donna’s name to the Holzer Center for Cancer Care or to the Holzer Hospice.
