Dora Parsons

Dora Parsons, 63, of Bidwell, Ohio passed away on Saturday, November 6, 2010 at her residence, the Porter Group Home. Dora was born on June 6, 1947 in Floyd County, Kentucky, daughter of the late Jack Parsons and Nancy Collins Parsons. She is survived by two sisters Myrtie (Hershel) Gillespie and Jill Ball both of Ironton, Ohio, one brother Joe (Joyce) Collins of Crown City, Ohio, several nieces, nephews,extended familyfrom the Porter Group Home, and her very special stuffed animal Itty Bitty. Dora was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers Jack Collins, Richard Collins and Frank Parsons, and by one sister Eula Parsons. Funeral services will be 6 pm Wednesday, November 10, 2010 at Willis Funeral Home, Gallipolis with Pastors Dan and Vanessa Freeman officiating. Friends may call on Wednesday prior to the services from 5 pm to 6 pm. Graveside interment will be on Thursday, November 11, 2010 at Buckhorn Cemetery, State Rt. 93 Decatur, Ohio at 11 am. Cemetery: BuckhornCemetery, Thursday 11 AM November 11, 2010 ST RT 93 to County Road 41 approx. 10.5 miles from Oak Hill, Ohio.
