Doris Evelyn Fulks, 71, went to be with the Lord and her loved ones on Tuesday, December 11, 2012 at her home. She was born January 21, 1941 in Crown City, Ohio, daughter of the late Elma and Morton Caldwell. She was a homemaker and a member of Guyan Valley Missionary Baptist Church. She enjoyed her grandchildren, farming and cooking. She is survived by her husband, Ross Fulks, whom she was married to for 53 years, and a daughter, Amy (Todd) Sibley of Gallipolis. She is also survived by the following siblings: Phyllis (Daniel) Stidham of Gallipolis, Marion (Carolyn) Caldwell of Columbus, Gilbert Caldwell of Crown City, Rita (Tom) Myers, Judy (Larry) Hall, Earl (Nelda) Caldwell, Vicki (Wayne) Elliott, Mike (Martha) Caldwell, and Cindy (Mark) Cremeans, all of Gallipolis. A loving grandmother, she is survived by the following grandchildren: Sommer Fulks, Luke Fulks, Mick Sibley, Tessa Sibley, Alicia (Chad) Rhodes, Bernie (Erica) Fulks and Niki (Michael) Kazee. Doris also has 9 great grandchildren who she loved dearly and enjoyed spending her time with them. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her children, Alison Daniels and Allen Fulks, a grandson Dustin Halley and her brother Farrell (Sonny) Caldwell. Services will be 1:00 p.m., Friday, December 14, 2012 at the Willis Funeral Home with Pastor Jimmy Chapman officiating. Burial will follow in the Perkins Ridge Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home from 6-8 p.m., Thursday, December 13, 2012. Pallbearers will be Mick Sibley, Bernie Fulks, Luke Fulks, Michael Kazee, and John Curtis Fulks.
