Doris Ann Wells

Doris Ann Wells, 77, of Gallipolis, Ohio passed away on Friday, March 8, 2019 at her residence. She was born on December 26, 1941 in Gallia County, Ohio, daughter of the late Clyde and Geneva Waugh Sheets. Doris retired from Holzer Medical Center after twenty-seven years of service in the food service and house keeping departments. She enjoyed crafting, shopping and cooking. She is survived by her children and grandchildren, a son Rick (Judy) Eggleton of Bidwell, and their children Chad Kimball, Jeff Kimball, Ryan Eggleton and Dyanna Elliott, daughter Mary (Bill) McCarley of Vinton and their children Annie Logan and Nicole Blake, daughter Linda Newell of Bidwell and her children Kristy Newell and Nakuma Roberts, daughter, Sherry (Ray) Hylton of Gallipolis and their children Allan, Payton and Kimbie Hylton, and daughter Tina (Brett) Harrison of Patriot and their children Derek, Jeremy and Brent Harrison; and twelve great grandchildren. Doris was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Richard Wells and by two brothers Gary Gene Sheets and Dale Sheets, and a sister Mary Lou Sheets. The funeral service for Doris was private with Pastor John Harless officiating at Willis Funeral Home with her burial in Good Hope Cemetery.
