Dorothy A. Greene

Dorothy A. Greene, 75, of Huntington, WV, passed away on Wednesday, February 22, 2006 at her residence. She was born on July 7, 1930 in Gallia County, Ohio to the late Grover and Melva Bevan Sheets. She was married to Ira E. Greene, Jr. and he preceded her in death. She was a supervisor for S.S. Logan Packing Company in Huntington, WV. Surviving are three sons, Gary E. Greene of Wilmington, NC, Ira E. Greene and Robert L. Greene, both of Huntington, WV; three grandchildren, Gunner Greene of Hopkinsville, KY, Kelly Greene of Huntington, WV and Marcus Greene of Hawaii; one great grandson, Brock Gunner Greene of Hopkinsville, KY; one sister, Glenna Gay Green of Gallipolis; two brothers, Willard Gwen Sheets of Crown City and Charles Wayne Tammy Sheets of Thurman. Preceding her in death was her father, Grover Sheets in 1976, her mother, Melva Sheets in 1999, and her husband, Ira E. Greene, Jr. in 1997. Graveside services will be on Saturday, February 25, 2006 at 11 a.m. at Ridgelawn Cemetery with Pastor Alfred Holley officiating.
