Elmie M. Burnheimer

Elmie M. Burnheimer, 81, Pt. Pleasant, WV, formerly of Gallia County, Ohio, passed away on Monday, July 27, 2020 at St. Mary's Medical Center. She was born on July 19, 1939 in Vinton, Ohio, daughter of the late Burl and Stella Williams Burnheimer. She is survived by her daughter, Becky (Walter) Patterson of Pt. Pleasant, WV; two grandchildren, Lisa (Jeremy) Clay of Chillicothe, Ohio, and Walter Patterson, Jr. of Pt. Pleasant, WV; two great grandchildren, Brayden Clay of Chillicothe and Walter Patterson, III of Pt. Pleasant, WV; three sisters, Nomia D. Mossman of Lucasville, OH, Kathryn Bonecutter of Rutland, OH, and Barbara A. (Larry) Curry of Gallipolis, Ohio, and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her siblings, Marion Burnheimer, Vernon, W. Burnheimer, Carol J. Leport, Evelyn Pennington, and a half brother Kenneth Williams. The funeral service for Elmie will be 1 pm Friday, July 31, 2020 at Willis Funeral Home with Pastor Gene Harmon officiating. Burial will follow in Pine Street Cemetery. Friends may call from noon until the time of the service prior at the funeral home on Friday. Those in attendance are asked to follow CDC guidelines and Ohio mandates of practicing social distancing and wearing face masks.
