Elworth "Larry" Mooney Jr.

Elworth “Larry” Mooney Jr., 66, of Gallipolis, died on February 3, 2015 at Arbors at Gallipolis. He was born January 13, 1949 in Taylorsville, North Carolina, son of the late Elworth and Helen Morrison Mooney Sr. In addition to his parents, Larry is preceded in death by a son Antonio Rodriquez Mooney, a sister Nellie Morrison, and a brother Kenneth “Kenny” Morrison. Surviving are his sisters, Jeane Mooney –Hutchinson, Diane Moore, Lena Fryson; a brother, Randy Morrison; brother-in-law, John Hutchinson; nieces, Donna Moore, Latoya Moore, Lakisha Mooney, Helena Hutchinson, Symia Mayfield, Yolanda Mooney, Rosemary Lacy, Taneka Morrison;a nephew, John “John Boy” Moore and wife Eyvette Henry Moore; an aunt, Maudine (Calvin) Minnis and her children; and a host of 20 great nieces, great nephews and cousins, Javon Knox, Tahjane Hall, Lakya Knox, Jahneece` Clements, Ashante` Hall, Shamela Hutchinson, Marquese Hutchinson, Jahnasia Moore, Desire Hutchinson, Samajhi Simon, Toni Hall, Najauna Lacy. There will be no services. Willis Funeral Home is assisting the family.
